Kala Vasudha is a quarterly journal based on performing arts, which was initiated in 2001 and its first release was in October 2001, in which famous playwright "Mudrarakshasa" like many eminent art seekers came and gave their blessings.

The biggest feature of "Kala Vasudha '' journal is its multi-faced artistic approach as a result of  all the performing arts which are being contemplated and written in this journal. Publishing almost all its issues in the form of special issues is also included in its meaningful purpose. So that all the music and performing arts lovers, readers and researchers can keep the profound contents of all these special issues in their collection.

The specific material contained in these special issues, establishing the nature of its referenceable journal, is preparing important documents in the context of almost all performing arts, which will present a very important rule in future research work.

 

Eid special issue of this magazine is presented in the form of an important episode of performing arts in which many scholars of country and abroad send their research papers related to that subject. So far about 40 special issues have been published of Kala Vasudha in which colour context - Kalidas Prasang, Film Prasang, Balraj Sahni Prasang, Aalha Prasang, Sangeet Shastra Prasang, Nautanki Prasang, Natya Prasang, Bundelkhand Prasang, Uttrakhand Prasang, Kathak Prasang, Sangeet Prasang, Ravindra Prassang, Puppet, Lok Prasang and Baal Natya Prasang etc. have been published in  two parts or joint issue. Scholarly art speakers and critics like Vishnu Prabhakar, Dr Bhanushaker Mehta, Dr Anil Rastogi and Mrs Manjari Sinha have also given their positive feedback and affection on these issues Kala Vasudha.
